we I did it!
honestly, this ear piercing effected me more then it did lila. my anxiety levels were high today. i kept thinking, “why would i purposely hurt my baby for vanity? what a horrible mommy i’ve become, sheez!” but i remembered, they’re doing both ears at the same time. it will be quick. the pain will be quick. i bet lila will cry about the shock of the ordeal, then the pain. i sat her down on my lap, held her arms, while another person held her head and on the count of 3..they did it!
seriously. people. lila is like triple adorable now! those little ears def. needed some adorable bling. so now lila and i are both sport tiny “diamond” studs. i’m not into the big ugly earings..just tiny little hoops or studs:) so it’s only natural that lila get’s earnings like her mommy! duh?!
daddy wasn’t 100% for the idea of his little girl getting earings. he kept saying that it would take the baby away. but she’s not a little baby anymore! he and i made a deal to wait at least till she’s a year old…i bet when he see’s her tonight, he’s gunna love them!
i plan to take her valentines pictures this weekend, so you’ll be able to see her cuteness then. they are a bit red and swollen..but other then that lila is all smiles and did AWESOME! she’s back to her goober self. LAV!
