i’ve been following Kelle’s BLOG for almost a year now. her and her family has been such a big inspiration in my life with lila and her special needs.when i found out she wrote a book called, bloom (click HERE for more details) i got so excited! see, she has a daughter with special needs and has so many wonderful & honest words about her journey into motherhood with two ladies, one of them being Nella (she has down syndrome).
the book arrives in early april and i plan to preorder mine next thursday! i can’t wait for it to arrive in the mail and i can start reading. she has posted a couple of quotes from her book on pinterest, and they feel so honest. believe it or not, but her honesty in the book in those few quotes got me hooked. i can relate to honesty. i can relate to having a child with special needs. i can relate to 2 therapy sessions a week. i can relate to the worry, unknown, and the fusterations. i can relate to the patience that parents with special needs kids must have. i can relate to the specialist & doctor appointments. i can relate to how special children can touch everyone’s lives in the most amazing way.
hurry up april!
